Bush has proposed that websites must keep records of everyone who uploads a video or picture, in case something is illegal and police need to investigate.
Sure it sounds like they have our safety in mind, but what they are really doing is taking the first amendment right out of our hands. So what if I decide to upload an anarchist picture? Will the CIA decide that Anarchism falls under the category of Terrorism? Will I be investigated? Brought to court? Excommunicated? Executed?
Honestly, I don't want to find out. And I am going to watch what I upload from my computer.
And there in lies the key: Self-Policing.
I hate this administration more and more everyday...
